発売日に買ってましたが、やっと聴けました。
今年の夏に山中湖で大雨の中開催されたライブを収録。
THE TOUR OF MISIA 2002以来、MISIAは毎年ライブDVDをリリースして、どれも音楽DVDのリファレンスとるなる出来を維持していますが、今回もなかなか良いです。
最近は音声トラックは2ch PCM + 5.1ch DolbyDigitalで収録していますが、今回はさらにバンドメンバーが回想しているオーディオコメンタリー付き。
で、肝心の音は、いつものバンドメンバーに加え、ブラスセクションが入ってよりゴージャスな編成。
DD 5.1chは、例えばドラムセットだとそれぞれを左・中央・右、ピアノであれば低音は左で高音は右に配置してますが、残響のような間接音はサラウンドにまで広げて配置して空間の広がりを出してます。この辺がわざとらしく無い程度に抑えているところが、手慣れた感じ。
PCM 2chは、無圧縮の良さを生かして芯のある音で収録されてます。普通のステレオで聴いても十分。
2chと5.1chで全然感じの違うミックスが以前は行われていたのもありましたが、最近は印象があまり変わらないようにしているみたいです。
他の音楽DVDもこれに近いクオリティで出して欲しいものです（w。
