札幌(実家)〜横浜(妹宅)間を開通させてきました。
ソフトはSkypeの最新版です。最近のはUIが全部日本語化されてるので、うちの両親でも問題無い感じ。
カメラは3000円位で売っているCMOS USBカメラ。CMOSだと画がもっさりしてるので、ちょっと高いけどCCDタイプのが良いかも。
動画は横浜→札幌はぱらぱら状態ですが、リアルタイムで孫の顔を見るくらいには十分。
なぜか札幌→横浜が次第に画が遅れ始め、２〜３分遅れで画が出るという症状。謎。
回線は両方ともYahooBBのADSL。
音声は双方ともリアルタイムなので電話用途には無問題。
自分のはMac版なので、戻って来てから妹のところに繋いでみましたが、こちらにカメラがないと画が出ないのかな？まだよく判りません。
離れたところにご両親を持つ、子持の方にはぜひお勧め（w。
