ドラマの方は、
○ 原作の設定の力強さ
× キムタクによるキムタクのためのドラマ
という印象。
・名家が舞台
・戦争特需や高度成長期に事業拡大を狙う
・先代が女好きで、いろいろ種をばらまいてしまう
・それに振り回される肉親の愛憎劇
・事業の方も時代の流れやライバル登場などで翻弄される
という、日本映画の黄金パターン。これで面白くなければよほどの失敗作でしょ？
話を長男視点に変えたのはキムタクのためとはいえ良かったけど、この手の重たい話の主役を張れるタマでは無い感じ。
佐藤浩市あたりなら１０年後も残るドラマになったと思うと、残念。
モデルとされる山陽特殊製鋼はドラマのようには高炉は建設出来ず、結局、新日鉄配下となり再建を果たし現在に至る。
神戸銀行は、→太陽神戸→太陽神戸三井→さくら→三井住友と変遷し既に跡形も無く。
現実はドラマより厳しいということで。
