向谷実といえば日本を代表するフュージョンバンドCASIOPEAのキーボーディストとして有名ですが！
と書き掛けたが、日本を代表する鉄ちゃんだよなぁ〜（w。
でもって、大阪に拉致られてる某氏に買って来てもらったのが、この京阪電車の発車メロディコレクション。CASIOPEA亡き後、初のCDか？？
CSでやってた番組で、本人が全駅の発車メロディ作ったんですよ〜！と嬉々として説明してたけど、中之島新線開通を機に、CDリリース。新線のメロディ含めて全部繋ぐと一曲になるらしい。
69曲中の始めの４曲が繋いだフルバージョン。普通にジャズ・フュージョンアレンジな曲で、これだけ聞かせても絶対に発車メロディとはわからない。次の４曲は発車メロディそのものを繋いだバージョン。これも気が付かない人が多いのではなかろーか？
で、残りがそれぞれの駅毎に分かれている。ご丁寧に（特急＋普通）×（上り＋下り）の４バージョンに加えて、車内放送や通過時の接近警告も向谷実作。恐るべし。。。
