浜松餃子でも良かったのだが、ここのところ静岡県に行き過ぎてるので、北へ！
宇都宮餃子祭りは荒山神社の参道などを中心に開催中してました。繁華街は駅前ではなく、JRと東武の駅の中心くらいなのですな。
テント毎に２店ずつ出店してるのだけど、餃子４個で１００円！というのがポイント。
で、それぞれの店毎に行列ができてました。最後尾に待ち時間を書いたプラカートを持っている女の子が立っているのがなかなか親切。とりあえず一番短い３０分の水餃子の店に並んで、２人分頼んで空腹を満たす。
次は焼き餃子の店へ。ここは５０分待ちでまた腹が減って来たので、買える上限の３人分を頼んでしまった。皮がパリパリして旨かったが、さすがに食い過ぎ。（爆）
次回行くなら、人数集めて店毎に並んで色々買って食いまくるのがよさげ。
行程は首都高から東北道と思ったが、浦和から先が渋滞25km70分というので、川口で降りて東北道を並走する122号に入り、浦和越谷パイパス経由で４号パイパスへ。これは新利根川橋。
4号バイパスは１車線だったので、これで宇都宮まで行くと一体どれだけ時間かかるんだ？？と不安になりましたが、北に行くにつれて２車線になって、宇都宮近くではほぼ３車線とかなり走り易い道路でした。結局３時間だったので、東北道より早かった気がする。
