M-DCT仕様に乗ってきました〜！
M-DCTとは最近流行のデュアルクラッチ型の２ペダルトランスミッション。VWだとDSG、ポルシェだとPDKと呼んでるタイプのもの。
試乗は青山のBMW Tokyo Squareだったので、赤坂御所一周コースでした。
何となくマニュアル的な発進をするDSGより走り出しはスムース。あまりクリープしないティプトロSに近いかも。都内の超低速で進む渋滞も問題無し＆違和感無し。とろとろ走ってる分にはかなり音は静か。というか、ケイマンがうるさすぎなのですが（w。
どーんと踏むと威勢の良いエンジン音が出るので、変速は音で判るという感じです。音を除けばDSG的にギアがポンポンと上がってきますね。デフォルトでスポーツモード的ですとは聞いたが、それほど引っ張る感じはなかったです。もっと踏み込まないとだめなのかな？
ステアリングは軽い＆クイックです。ポルシェと比較して軽いなので、一般的にどうなのかはわからんですが、慣れてないのでステアリング切り過ぎて戻す動作になってしまいました。
サスペンションは３段階に切り替えれるというのでいろいろ変えてみましたが、一番硬いというモードでもそんなに硬い感じがしなかったです。微小入力は割と柔らかく受け止め快適性を上げて、大入力は硬めに受け止め姿勢変化を抑えるという、日本車含めた最近のトレンド的な脚でした。
ブレーキは強力ですがアシスト効き過ぎです。これも最近の味付けですかね。以前乗ってた318iが割とリニアな感じだったのに比べると、かなり日本車っぽい感じ。
重たい車体にもかかわらず420psのパワーと相まってかなり軽快に走れました。が、運転して楽しいかというと微妙かなぁ？？人の感覚に極力リニアに反応させる・感じさせるポルシェとは全く思想が違う車ですね。
1000万円の4人乗りクーペということで素の997がライバル視されますが、本当のライバルはBENZ AMGやLEXUS IS-Fあたりでしょう。
