先週は札幌に帰省でしたが、遠出する気も無いので市内でだらだらと過ごしてました。
で、今年の春に伸びたという札幌駅〜大通駅間の地下街に行って来ましたよ。
札幌の地下街は'72オリンピックに合わせて、大通駅〜ススキノ駅と大通駅〜テレビ塔の二つが出来てましたが、人通りのおおいはずの札幌駅〜大通駅の間は整備されないままでした。この間の路面店が客を奪われると反対してたのが原因のようですが、近年人の流れが変わってそうも言ってられなくなった様子。
新しい地下街ですが、既にある地下鉄線路と道路の隙間に作ったので、今時の地下街としては天井が低い気がする。既存のビルと繋ぐ通路はありますが、店はそんなに無い感じ。関東で言うと新宿〜新宿３丁目みたいな雰囲気か？
中央分離帯のところの窓から外光導入してるのが新しい作りかな。
